The Villa (approx. 240 sq m) The main entrance to the villa, on the first floor, leads into the tower section of the house which originally dates back further to the 14th century, and is now the dining room. There is a large open fireplace dating back to the 15th century and a large dining table seating up to 12 people. An old stone-handled door leads you through to the kitchen which is fully equipped for all culinary desires. The comfortable bedroom has a typical Tuscan four-poster bed and a separate dressing room as well as a very spacious en-suite bathroom with colourful tiles matching the bright coloured walls. The second floor is accessed via a handmade wrought iron railing staircase taking you into the living room in the upper part of the tower. A wide landing leads to the other rooms on this floor, comprising of 2 large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and which also have amazing views. The 600 year old exposed wooden beams and the original handmade tiles give that traditional, authentic feel to the villa and the 5 metre high ceilings and 80cm thick walls contribute to pleasant cool temperatures within the rooms.

Apartment Cortona On the ground floor of the villa, once the stables, is now a spacious apartment with a separate private entrance. The apartment contains a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds, a bathroom with shower and a living room diner with kitchenette. Both the bathroom and the kitchenette area have been fitted with handmade tiles. A small alcove, where a manual olive press once stood, further characterises the structure of the villa revealing the various activities that once took place here. Outside, there is a delightful pergola and a large private sun terrace for sunbathing and relaxing. The owners are happy to help you with your excursion plans. The Trasimene lake (Lago Trasimeno) is located just 12 km away. The Adria and Riviera are easily reached within 2 hours by car.
